**Accountabilities**
- Accountable for the availability, reliability, maintenance and service operation of the End User Computing experience to agreed service levels. This includes:

- Laptops, desktops, mobiles, tablets.
- Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager suite.
- Packaging, software builds and task sequences, delivered following rigorous and repeatable test processes.
- Active Directory, GPO, sites and services integration.
- Hardware and software product lifecycle management.
- Microsoft 365 integration.
- Accountable for the health of these services, resolving problems and incidents, delivering maintenance plans for patching, updating hardware and software components (where required) to maintain supportability
- Accountable for associated outsourced service providers’ performance against agreed service levels.
- Support the technical services as part of an on-call 24x7x365 rota.
- Work with vendors and IT service providers to resolve complex issues and understand hardware and software roadmaps to align with Cadent lifecycle plans
- Providing technical assurance across the IS Technology Services estate, ensuring change management process is adhered to and changes are technically validated to protect live service.
- Providing technical input to projects and programmes to ensure technical suitability, this will involve configuration activities, design reviews, input into UAT & OAT testing, service transition into enduring support.
- Inputting into technical standards for related technology / infrastructure and strategic decisions.
- Accountable for maintaining and safeguarding the security and safety of Technology Services in line with company security policies and standards
- Accountable for understanding the business and user impact of technical maintenance and change activities, and the business and operational benefits offered by new technology.
- Accountable for regular completion of audit activities
- Accountable for understanding Cadent's purpose, values, plan, priorities, and ambition
- Accountable for delivering a stable and performant end user experience for over 6500 users and devices across multiple sites in the UK.
- Accountable for providing technical assurance and insight during high priority incidents and problem management related to IS Technology Services, validating root cause analysis reports and corrective actions, to ensure they are technically viable.
- Provide expertise and input into the development, management, maintenance, and promotion of the IT Maintenance Roadmap, owned by the Technology Strategy team.
- Accountable for availability, support, maintenance, proactive monitoring, and optimal use of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager suite, including Config Manager, Intune, Autopilot, CMG.
- Work closely with the asset management team to support accurate CMDB records and to maximise the functional output from the device management suite.
- Accountable for the development and implementation of maintenance policies for IT Technology Services ensuring that any subsequent maintenance plans are aligned to vendor roadmaps/lifecycles.
- Ensure that disaster recovery (DR) Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) are in place and regularly tested as part of the DR Plan.

- Analyse large datasets, draw valid inferences and present them successfully to management using a reporting tool
