We now have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Specialist to work at our Head Office in Ipswich. Travel to sites will be required, so a full UK Licence is essential.

The main purpose of this role is to provide quality, health, safety and environmental advice and support across the company, with a particular emphasis on quality.

**The Main Duties for this role are**:

- Working in partnership with our operations team
- Building excellent working relationships with our clients and partners
- Inspiring best practice within the company
- Driving positive QHSE behaviours
- Investigating Cost of poor quality and NCRs and recommending actions to prevent recurrence
- Monitoring quality performance
- Leading on internal and external audits
- Assisting with maintenance of the documented Integrated Management System
- Promoting compliance with our quality, health, safety and environmental policies and company procedures (with a particular emphasis on quality)
- Assisting with business improvement initiatives.

**Are you the person we are looking for?**

Some knowledge of the ISO 9001 standards as well as experience internal auditing would be an advantage as would some knowledge and experience of environmental (14001) and health and safety (45001) management systems.

Any knowledge of LEAN improvement techniques would also be beneficial but not essential.

We are not looking for the finished article, this role would suit someone who has some experience in a quality based role (preferably in construction/civil engineering) or an engineer looking to make a move still within the industry, who is now looking to progress their career within an established and experienced team.
