**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of work sites, ensuring they are clean and organised.
- Operate hand tools and machinery safely and effectively.
- Carry out manual handling tasks, including lifting, carrying, and moving materials as required.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with team members to achieve project goals.
- Conduct routine inspections of tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, promoting a safe working environment.
- Report any issues or hazards to management promptly.
- Working pattern will include day and night time working. Working in Rail Infrastructure and Public Sector environments.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a semi skilled role or similar position is preferred
- Ability to work well in a team as well as independently when required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Physical fitness and stamina for manual tasks, including lifting heavy objects.
- A valid driving licence is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with construction tools and equipment is beneficial.
- Experience working in a Rail environment will be advantageous.

**Job Type**: Freelance

Pay: £15.00-£20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

**Location**:

- London E16 (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 75% (preferred)
