Theatre Administrator

**Theatre Administrator | Spire Regency | Macclesfield | Part-Time | 22.5 hours | £10.40**

Spire Regency Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Theatre Admin to join our team on a part time and permanent basis.

- Reporting to the Administration Team Leader you will be responsible for providing an efficient and high quality clerical service that is supportive of the staff responsible for the provision of surgical care. _
- As Theatre Admin you will also provide accurate operating lists, maintain accurate patient records and support the senior team with administrative and clerical duties _

**The position is part time 22.5 hrs per week and the hours will be worked through Monday to Friday 10 am to 3pm (hours negotiable).**

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Welcome visitors into the clinical area, maintaining a courteous and professional manner at all times
- Handle telephone calls and face to face enquiries from patient relatives, hospital staff and external stakeholders in a constructive and sympathetic manner, acting appropriately and referring to a suitable person where necessary
- Manage and maintain theatre archiving
- Manage maintenance spreadsheet and asset register
- Ensure patient confidentiality/privacy is maintained at all times in accordance with Spire policy.

- Previous experience in similar environment is desirable but not essential
- Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
