Deputy Cfo

NHS Organisation in Dorset is looking to recruit a Deputy CFO into a 18 month FTC.

This is an important role for the organisation at a pivotal time of change as the CCG transitions into an ICB. Therefore an experienced, professional and qualified leader is sought who can influence change, manage a large team internally whilst also being able to play a key part in managing and negotiating with external organisations and stakeholders

**Key responsibilities include**:

- To act as the strategic and operational lead for the CCG in partnership with the Chief Finance Officer in the provision of comprehensive financial services
- Operate at Board level with authority and a corporate view of all issues effecting the CCGs allocation and deputise for the Chief Finance Officer.
- To provide strategic leadership to the finance and contracting team, setting the strategy in the context of the CCG’s strategic priorities and plans.
- To provide leadership, advice and support to members of the Governing Body and clinical leaders across the broad directorate portfolio, supporting the organisation to be a responsive and influential leader of the health and social care system.
- To support the CCG in all areas as the transition to a ICB progresses

This is an excellent opportunity for a secondment to gain experience in a different area or finance and also for anyone who wanted to experience a difference role and environment for the next 18 months.
