Now in our 12th year of trading, McCrae Training is offering a range of exciting training and assessment positions as we expand our team to meet the increasing demand for delivery of high-quality utility sector training.

From our head office and UK industry-leading skills academy in East Kilbride, combined with our satellite centres in Northern Ireland / Ireland and Wales, we deliver utility and construction sector training across the UK and Ireland to small, medium and large organisations inclusive of Water, Gas, Drainage, Telecoms and Multi-Utility Companies.

We are offering 2 full-time Trainee Trainer and Assessor positions to join our team as we continue to expand and grow.

A minimum of 2 years operational experience within one of the following utility sectors is essential: Water, Gas, Drainage, Street Works, Power, or Telecoms.

Trainee trainers / assessors will be expected to meet the following requirements during and upon completion of their development programme:

- Organise, plan, and deliver high quality SVQ / NVQ qualifications, technical skills training and assessments
- Meet all requirements as set out within McCrae Training Ltd's Code of Practice
- Assist with regular reviews of training course materials, (minimum annually) to ensure they meet all requirements, standards and legislation
- Process and return post training delivery course paperwork to a consistent and high-quality standard meeting all Company procedures and performance targets
- Ensure work is completed in accordance with client, company and awarding body standards and specifications
- Work against and comply with McCrae Training Ltd's Business and Quality Management Systems
- Maintain CPD (Continuous Professional Development) records and update continually
- Assist in meeting and exceeding company performance targets associated with consistent delivery of training and assessment services
- Achieve and exceed individual performance targets
- Maintain Health & Safety standards within the External Assessment Centre, Skills Academy, Storage Containers and Training Rooms
- Ensure health & safety is the primary consideration in all aspects of delivering training and assessment services on and off site, to maintain the safety of all

Trainee trainer / assessors will continue to shadow experienced trainers/assessors until they have successfully completed their training and development programme.

Due to the nature of this role, a full UK driving license is essential.

Travelling to client's sites will form part of the role requirements along with the expectation to work away from home up to 30% of the time.

Working hours 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (Monday to Friday) with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break.
