The team is currently undergoing a transformation to Power BI and the MI analyst key to the success of this. **Key Responsibilities within this role include**: **Management Information Reporting** - Ownership of the agent performance MI tool miPerform.- Compile daily, weekly and monthly reports for operational leaders - Develop data accurate data models to aid in data analysis - Identify and analyse trends and predictions to help the business planning process - Work with IT and other business partners to design and provide reports to extract data from new systems - Proactively identify, manage and mitigate business risks encountered as part of your day to day role **Communication** - Develop strong relationships and work closely with teams across the business - Ability to present to both technical and non-technical audiences. **Our must-haves**: **Management Information** - Intermediate to Advanced Excel/VBA - Development and delivery of MI dashboards in Power BI - Experience of the use of SQL to query data and establish reports from large scale databases (eg. MS SQL Server) - Experience of optimising SQL queries and working with other analysts to assist them to write optimised SQL queries **Experience** - Experience with Management Information Reporting/Analytical tools particularly being involved in designing, developing and implementing MI reports and User/Management Dashboards from a wide variety of systems - Detailed understanding of best practice KPIs and metrics in a contact centre environment. - Demonstratable experience working with complex source systems and transforming the data into easy to use data models **Personal Attributes** - A versatile team player - Strong analytical and logical thinker - ability to "think outside the box" and identify areas for further analysis - Awareness of impact of decisions on the Customer Experience - Good communication and presentation skills - Attention to detail and to quality - High work ethic - gets the job done on time - Ability to understand and translate someone's vision and make it reality - Ability to create outputs that are easy to understand and that support the operational performance needs **Diversity and flexible working at Hiscox** At Hiscox we care about our people.
