We’re looking for a full-time Warehouse supervisor to join us in our Birmingham Branch. The main purpose of the job role is to oversee and manage the operations of a warehouse facility. Ensure that the warehouse runs smoothly, and that products or materials are handles and shipped efficiently and accurately.

Overall, the role of a warehouse supervisor is crucial in maintaining the efficiency and productivity of the warehouse while ensuring that all processes and procedures are followed correctly.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and manage all warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and materials handling.
- Ensure efficient and accurate order fulfillment and timely delivery of products.
- Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to optimise operational efficiency.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels to meet customer demands.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely resolution of issues.
- Train, supervise, and evaluate warehouse staff to ensure productivity and adherence to safety protocols.
- Utilise warehouse management system to track inventory, monitor performance metrics, and generate reports.
- Implement and enforce proper handling and storage techniques to prevent damage or loss of products.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory role or similar position.
- Proficient in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
- Strong knowledge of business processes related to warehouse operations.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
- Proven ability to lead a team effectively and foster a positive work environment.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is preferred.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £27,000.00 per year
