Teaching Assistant - Preston

Are you an SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a new challenge within Preston?

We are currently looking for a teaching assistant to work full time within a reception class working 1-1 with a child with Autism. This role is working 8.30-3.30 with half an hour lunch Monday to Friday (30 hours per week). This role is to start ASAP and will be for 12 weeks and then will go permanent with the school.

This rural primary school on the outskirts of Preston is recruiting for an SEN teaching assistant to work 1-1 supporting a child in reception who has autism and challenging behaviour. The school are looking for someone to join their team on a temp to perm basis.

Essential requirements:

- Hold a teaching assistant qualification or equivalent
- Experience of working with SEN and Autism.
- A secure knowledge of supporting teachers to deliver the National Curriculum in KS1
- All work with Tradewind requires a DBS on the update service and collection of at least two verified references
- An up-to-date CV with a 10-year career history
- Legal Right to Work in the UK
