Experienced Accounts Clerk

**Overview**
**Duties**
- Process invoices and manage accounts payable transactions efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions using accounting software such as Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and summaries as required.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate billing and payment processes.
- Support the finance team with various administrative tasks related to accounting functions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations regarding financial transactions.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in an accounting or finance role is required.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks is essential.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively with colleagues and vendors.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From £16.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 16 per week
