Anord Mardix are a global group that manufactures switchgear and associated products for installation in mission-critical and live commercial buildings ranging from data centres to the international headquarters of some of the world’s largest companies.

We are currently recruiting for a Factory Cleaner/Yard Worker, to work at our Walton Summit site.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensuring Factory is maintained in a clean tidy state at all times
- Ensuring floors are clear, canteen and toilet facilities are clean and management of recycling and waste management.
- Complying with relevant regulations regarding health and safety requirements to maintain a safe working environment
- Complying with regulation regarding disposal of waste materials
- Ensure the warehouse, yard and external areas are kept clean, tidy and free of debris.
- Ensure contractors areas are clean and tidy and that appropriate waste containers are being used.
- Removal from warehouse, breaking down and disposing of pallets.
- Ensure all vehicles are parked safely, appropriately and in relevant bays.
- Ensure all externally stored equipment is safe and secured.
- Ensure waste containers are sited in line with space restrictions.
- Book in and provide timely & efficient scrap and waste collections and complete relevant paperwork.
- Collate cleaning materials requirements from cleaning team and order with Facilities Manager.
- Report any maintenance issues to the Facilities Manager.
- Work outside in all weathers (Appropriate PPE will be provided).
- Have FLT licence, or be prepared to take FLT qualification.
- Ensure workplace is maintained in a clean, tidy state at all times.
- Complying with relevant regulations and health and safety requirements to maintain a safe working environment.
- Complying with regulations regarding disposal of waste materials.
- Maintain high levels of health and safety.

Skill Requirements
- They must be able to work accurately to deadlines in a busy and pressurised environment and demonstrate flexibility.
- The ability to work with mínimal supervision will be essential. Applicants should also be flexible to work overtime and some weekends as the role requires.
