An exciting opportunity has arisen within the division of Family Health for a ward clerk to join the gynaecology team for 23 hours per week. The ward clerk will be responsible for supporting the in-patient ward B11 & the Acute Gynaecology Unit, as well as the Early Pregnancy Assessment unit & Pregnancy Advisory service.
The role will involve supporting the multi-disciplinary team by carrying out administrative duties to ensure the effective delivery of patient care.
We are looking for applicants who will bring a positive approach to our working environment. Applicants must have effective communication skills for dealing with complex and sensitive issues and should demonstrate professionalism as you will assist with general enquiries from our service users. Applicants should have excellent IT skills, be organised, and pay attention to detail for the purposes of data input. Previous experience of working with System one & Meditech would be advantageous.
