Hours: Full-time or Part-time available. The hours are negotiable; 07.30 - 6.00pm Monday to Friday.

Our client, Brook Babes established since 1999, are looking to recruit for a Childcare & Nursery Practitioner to work with children, aged 0-5 years and 5-11years, providing a warm caring environment.

Duties Include:

- Focus on getting to know the children, playing and educating; less time focused on administrative duties.
- Keeping mínimal but accurate assessments records of childrens development to ensure all children can have an equal chance to make the best progress.
- Provide consistent high quality, child centred, responsive care to all children.
- You will be able to model play, provide well planned stimulating, enabling environments for children to thrive.
- Extending children’s development through play with a mixture of guided learning and in the moment teachable experiences.
- To be able to listen and respond to children in a child centred manner which Safeguards children.
- Work in partnership with parents to promote the best outcomes for children which is supportive.
- While being level 3 qualified would be an advantage, this is not essential as training will be paid for by the provider.
- For this role being committed and having passion for the role is essential.
- You must be committed to protect children from harm through following safeguarding procedures and ongoing professional development.
