The Redline Group are working closely with our client to secure the services of an experienced Contract Mechanical Design Engineer (Solidworks), for an initial 6 month contract to work in their Cambridge office.
The business has been met with an increase in workload and require additional support to ensure new designs are completed within project deadlines. Using your design experience, you will initially support design changes on existing products, followed by supportingthe team with new product development.
To be considered for the Contract Mechanical Design Engineer (Solidworks) role in Cambridge, you will have:

- Proven experience of using Solidworks
- Experience of plastic injection moulded parts
- Experience of mechanical assembles, precision components and machined parts
- Design for manufacture experience would be ideal
This is a fantastic opportunity and it is likely to be extended.
Please note, this role will not accept PSC's so you must be willing to operate via an Umbrella company.
