**Key Responsibilities**
- **Picking and Packing**:

- Select and pack food produce items according to specifications and quality standards.
- Ensure that picked items are free from defects and meet company quality requirements.
- Label and package products correctly and efficiently.
- **Material Handling**:

- Load and unload products onto and off the production line.
- Organise and stage materials for easy access during the picking process.
- **Quality Control**:

- Perform visual inspections to identify any issues or defects in the products.
- Report any discrepancies or quality issues to the Production Supervisor.
- **Maintenance and Cleanliness**:

- Maintain a clean and organised work area in accordance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- **Documentation**:

- Accurately record picking data and maintain logs as required.
- Complete any required paperwork and ensure records are up to date.
- **Skills and Abilities**:

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues.
- Basic understanding of food production processes and quality standards.
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to strict safety and quality standards.

**Physical Requirements**
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Comfortable working in a temperature-controlled environment (hot or cold, depending on the type of food produce).

**Additional Requirements**
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts and overtime as needed.
- Compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations, including wearing appropriate protective clothing and equipment.
