**Embrace Care** is seeking **‘Waking Night Support Workers’ in Lancaster area in our new provision.** You will work with children and young people to ensure they are provided with a safe and nurturing approach during the night-time and are supported with their night-time routines. Other responsibilities of the ‘Waking night Support Workers’ include:

- Light domestic house tasks.
- Observations and monitoring during the night.
- Recording necessary information accurately.

**What you’ll get in return**:

**Main responsibilities include**:

- To maintain a high quality of care and support which meets the physical, emotional, intellectual, social, and cultural needs of the children and young people.
- Establishing positive relationships with the young people and always offering them unconditional and therapeutic support.
- Keeping accurate records and providing written reports on young people including observations, monitoring and welfare support.
- Being aware of childcare plans for all young people and providing support for colleagues by maintaining consistency in the execution of those plans.
- Attending regular supervision sessions in line with the national minimum standards.
- Working as a team player, communicating and handing over to day staff effectively.
- Maintaining the night-time routines and cleanliness of the home.

**Essential**:

- A minimum 1-year experience with working with children and young people ideally within a residential setting however not essential.

**Desirable**:

- Driving license.
- NVQ Level 3/4 in Children and young people.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Full-time

**Salary**: £14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 23 - 40 per week
