We are looking for dedicated, experienced Support Workers in Poole to support 1:1 three young triplets with complex needs. They live at their family home with their parents, older brother, and older sister.
They require high levels of support and supervision to reduce risk of harm and so we’re really keen to speak with Support Workers that have some experience.
The triplets were born premature and have various complex needs including, Epilepsy, risk of aspiration, hearing/visual impairment, and Cerebral Palsy. They are reliant on caregivers to meet their personal care needs, which is why it is so important that you understand the needs of each child and support accordingly.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Mobility support
- Support with medication administration
- Accessing the community
- Support with personal hygiene
- Building a good relationship with the children
**Skills Knowledge and Expertise**:
- Driving licence ideally
- Communication skills
- Have an encouraging nature to support this Individual emotionally & psychologically
- Maintaining accurate, complete health care records and reports
- Professional and friendly attitude
