We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Data Enablement to join our senior leadership team. This role is perfect for someone eager to Build future-focused Data Engineering capabilities in with our tools and people to drive the execution of our strategic vision. You'll play a pivotal role in empowering our team to achieve their goals and deliver impactful results

A bit about the job:
Additionally, you will:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive data enablement strategy that aligns with the organisation's goals
- Lead and mentor a team of highly skilled data engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of a consolidated data platform
- Optimise the build and consumption of capabilities within the function
- Manage the integration of data sources and technologies into our data lakehouse
- Ensure high levels of data availability and integrity focussing on governance practices
- Implement best practices to streamline data workflows and improve platform efficiency

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

- Proven experience in a senior data engineering or data management role
- Strong knowledge of enterprise data technologies, including AWS Data services, Snowflake, Cloud DBT, AWS Managed Apache Airflow, Attacama, Immuta, and Collibra
- Excellent leadership, communication, collaboration and team management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms and services

- National salary £100,000 - £120,000, London salary £130,000-£140,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
- Bonus opportunity -25% of annual salary Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
