We are now recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join our team.

**Who are we looking for?**

Our growth and increasing customer base have created an opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join our team and deliver our installation solutions on a global scale.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with the FC to ensure smooth operation of all finance matters and provide assistance when needed.
- Assist with the daily bank reconciliations of all accounts.
- Assist with the sterling and foreign currency petty cash.
- Inputting into purchase ledgers from source documents.
- Matching invoices to statements and purchase orders to invoices.
- Input accounting data into the accounting system (Xero) with speed and accuracy.
- Reconciling supplier invoices to purchase orders issued using the Company’s cost management system (Clarity).
- Assist with weekly accounts payable batches.
- Assist with the processing of sales invoices.
- Log sales invoices onto relevant trackers and update the cost management system.
- Perform general housekeeping checks on the cost management system for supplier PO’s and sales invoices.
- Provide support to Retail Sales Engineers with their company financial administration and ensure data captured on the finance and cost management systems.
- Review general ledger and aged payable report on a timely basis to ensure no duplication of entries and that suppliers are paid on a timely basis and within the constraints of the Company’s cash flow position.
- Assist with the resolution of finance related queries.
- Assist with monthly management and year end preparation and procedures.
- Provide financial support to team members.
- Plan, organise and manage own workload to ensure your contribution to the company’s monthly financial reporting process is achieved in a timely and accurate manner.
- Any other duties that may be deemed appropriate to this.

**What we need from you**:
**Knowledge**
- Basic understanding of accounting processes and procedures.
- Good level of competence in Excel, Word and Outlook and computerised accounting software.

**Further qualifications/skills**
- Experience of working within a finance department
- Working towards or attainment of a recognised finance qualification
- Working in marketing/ logistic/ installer-based organisation
