We are looking to appoint a motivated, enthusiastic and multi-skilled Non-Teaching Assistant Head of Year to join our dedicated Pastoral Team. Working within the Pastoral Hub at the heart of the school, the Assistant Head of Year will support the work of a Head of Year and contribute to the provision of exceptional pastoral care across the school. This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic and proactive individual with a flexible and strategic approach. Fairfield High School for Girls is a non-selective, non-denominational, 11-16 academy for girls, situated in Droylsden in Manchester. The school, which converted to an academy in 2011, has 981 girls on its roll.

Fairfield High School is one of the oldest all-girls schools in the country; in was founded in 1796, when Sister Mary Tyrrell opened a small girls' boarding school. In September 2004, as part of the Specialist Schools Programme, the secondary school became a Science College.
