The client are a global real estate and property company that have offices all over the world, and global assets of over £5 billion. They are looking for a Commercial Finance Analyst to join the team on a permanent basis. The role is a brand new role withinthe team, and they are looking for someone who can hit the ground running, but is also keen to grow and develop through the business.

**Description**

The successful Commercial Finance Analyst will:

- Business partner across business to provide supportive insight to key stakeholders. This will include senior management and other key leadership figures.
- Support with interpreting financial and non-financial metrics and share information to enable the business to grow according to our core values and strategic outlook.
- Provide routine and ad-hoc reporting and analysis to the team and to business partners in a form that accurately and clearly articulates the key points.
- Analysing past financial performance, preparing competitor analysis, and examining market trends along with commentary for management.
- Assist with creating financial models to predict growth and forecast performance.
- Assist with analysing previous budgets and forecasts and performing variance analysis to explain discrepancies.
- Assist in the development of KPIs, including new dashboard reports and analytics, for reporting to the management and executive teams.
- Assist with preparing financial and strategic plans for business teams and the wider organisation.
- Production, analysis and commentary for executive and board reports

**Profile**

The successful Commercial Finance Analyst will:

- Significant experience in a previous FP&A role
- Advanced financial modelling and data manipulation skills
- Highly analytical with advanced MS Excel skills.
- Ability to understand, summarise and communicate technical financial information via reports, memos, presentations and verbal communications.
- Working with high levels of autonomy, in a matrix global organisation with diverse workforces.
- Ability to interact at all levels and build relationships across the business.
- Exceptional attention to detail and track record of working in a multiple task environment where priorities need to be managed.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- Confident and articulate - able to present well to senior stakeholders
- Experience in student accommodation, hospitality or residential sector highly desired.
- M&A experience / financial modelling / Due Diligence highly desired
- Fluency in European language desirable (not essential)

**Job Offer**
- £50,000 - £60,000
