Quality Engineer

Qualitair Aviaiton is currently looking for a Quality Engineer to work for their client based in Netherlands.

Quality Engineer is the point of contact within the organisation for guaranteeing, monitoring and improving the quality of products and production processes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitoring the quality level of the organisation on the basis of product and process conformity, and the reporting thereof;
- Identifying and giving advice regarding process and quality improvements in the production environment and support in the implementation thereof;
- Analysing non conformities from external customer reports and demand from internal rejection using 8D or other methods;
- Drafting quality documentation for new products and associated production processes (including risk analyses of processes through FMEA, assurance of products through FAI);
- Performing periodic internal and external process and product audits to guarantee conformity to customer specifications and follow-up;
- Managing and performing both internal and external calibrations of measuring instruments and machines for the quality of inspection processes.
- Higher vocational education in mechanical engineering or aerospace engineering;
- Knowledge of quality management and problem solving methods;
- Knowledge of improvement methods (eg Lean Six Sigma);
- Good communication skills in Dutch and English in speaking and writing;
- Able to work analytically and think abstractly, with an eye for detail;
- Project-based and result-oriented work attitude.
