**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to ensure the best quality products at competitive prices.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure advantageous agreements.
- Manage the purchasing process from requisition through to delivery, ensuring timely fulfilment of orders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to align purchasing strategies with business objectives.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance using ERP systems.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and new products.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Buyer or in a similar procurement role within a supply chain environment.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders effectively.
- Proficiency in Sage 200 / Sage 50 & Sage Construct is preferable
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for evaluating supplier proposals and performance metrics.
- Knowledge of logistics processes and supply chain management principles.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: From £26,205.72 per year
