Reporting to a Consultant Clinical Psychologist, you will be supervised to help deliver a range of different assessments and interventions to people within a group and individual setting.

As an Assistant Psychologist, you will also oversee collection and analysis of various clinical data, including neurocognitive and behaviour assessments, and outcome measures. You will also assist with staff training and preparation of reports.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Carrying out a range of clinical activities under the supervision of the Consultant Clinical Psychologist
- Conducting protocol-based psychological assessments using appropriate psychometric measures, direct and indirect observation, and semi-structured interviews, scoring and reporting (verbal/written) under the supervision of the Consultant Clinical Psychologist
- Overseeing collection and preliminary analysis of data for individual behaviour assessments
- Assisting in the coordination and running of therapeutic groups
- Helping to coordinate routine completion of appropriate outcome measures
- Receiving regular clinical supervision in accordance with professional practice guidelines
- Attending and contributing to various relevant meetings
- Supporting the Consultant Clinical Psychologist within the service on a day-to-day basis.
- Assisting with audit and research
- Maintaining the highest standards regarding clinical governance, ethical practice, and data protection

**To be successful in this role, you'll need**:

- Previous experience of working as a member of a clinical team
- A BPS accredited recognised degree in Psychology conferring Graduate Basis for Registration (GBR) at Class 2.1 or higher
- Aspiration to develop a career as a Practitioner Psychologist
- Commitment to meet and sustain professional practice expectations
