Pertemps is currently looking for an IT Support Technician to join their client's team, who will undertake the day-to-day support their valued customers.
As the successful IT Support Technician, you will:
- Provide 1st and 2nd line support in accordance with IT strategy, technology architecture best practice and industry standards.
- Review and update procedures when necessary and keep technical documentation accurate and current.
- Provide technical advice to our client’s customers to maximise their understanding
- Works with colleagues and customers to ensure compliant services are delivered.
- Carries out installations, refreshes, fixes and decommission activities in line with agreed procedures and DSE requirements.
- Keeps in touch with new technology trends to ensure understanding of core IT technologies
- Prepares, monitors, and reports on IT statistical information, embedding the Service management culture
- Works to reduce risk of service failure
The IT Support Technician will have demonstratable experience working in a professional environment or 1st Line IT Support role within at least 2 of the following:
- Incident Management
- Request Fulfilment
- Problem Management
- Configuration Management
The successful IT Technician will ideally have previous Service Desk experience.
This is a temporary role until the end of August and will be full time working 37 hours per week. Mon - Fri 0800 - 1600. A full UK driving licence will be required. Salary is £13.00 p/h.
