Shiraka Ltd are currently looking for an experienced Nursery Room Leader to join a well established Nursery in Ilford. This is a full time, permanent role working 40 hours a week and all year round.

If you have an enthusiastic and positive attitude along with excellent communication and written skills, and the ability to build strong, supportive relationships with children, parents and staff, then this may be the right opportunity for you.

**Nursery Room Leader Skills/Qualifications**:

- Level 3 (or above) full and relevant Childcare Qualification
- Minimum 1 year post qualification experience
- Relevant childcare qualifications in accordance with OFSTED guidelines
- Thorough understanding and knowledge of legislation including EYFS
- Empathetic, caring and friendly
- Enthusiastic, positive attitude
- Patient
- Proven supervisory and coaching experience

**Nursery Room Leader Duties include but not limited to**:

- viewing planning sheets and record keeping of all the staff in your room
- Ensuring routines are being followed and run smoothly
- Ensuring new decisions are taken on board and maintained in the room at all times
- Ensuring that all policies and procedures are being followed by all staff
- Being an excellent role model to the other staff in your room
