‘The Chimes’ on Lime Grove in Cheadle (Greater Manchester) is a luxury 48 apartment development that features amenities such as a restaurant, hairdressing salon, spa suite, lounge and 24-hour on-site support and optional tailored care if required. The development is easily accessible with great road links, located just off the A34 and close to M60.

**What will this role of Cleaner entail?**

All members of staff have a responsibility for developing a good community spirit throughout The Chimes and to help owners lead as fulfilling a personal and social life as they wish.

As a cleaner you’ll provide 1 hour per week of domestic assistant to each owner. The nature of the assistance to be provided will vary depending on the requirements of the owner, but typically will cover tasks such as:

- Domestic cleaning; cleaning owners’ apartments and internal and external communal areas
- Shopping; carrying out shopping duties locally for owners
- Laundry and ironing; using The Chimes washing and drying machines to clean laundry, and ironing the laundered items
- Kitchen assistance; assisting the Chef in the preparation of vegetables, cleaning cutlery, crockery and utensils, and serving owners their food and refreshments as part of a waiting-on service

**What will I receive in return?**

As a cleaner at The Chimes, you’ll receive a pay rate of £9.50-£10.65 per hour, and an enhanced pension scheme is available. Uniforms will be supplied.

You’ll be employed on a permanent contract, working part-time hours up to a maximum of 16 hours per week, between the hours of 10am and 3pm, on a weekly rota which will include weekends and Bank Holidays.

Any Bank Holiday work will be paid at double time and covering sickness or absence of co-workers will be paid at an enhanced hourly rate of £10.65.

**What will I need to be considered for this Cleaner role?**
- Proven experience of delivering excellent customer care, perhaps gained in a nursing or care home environment
- Ability to remain calm in an ever-changing environment
- Passion for delivering the highest standards of customer service
