**Role Overview**:
Step into the world of Buns From Home as our All-rounder team member. Here, you'll channel your culinary prowess in the kitchen, while also playing a key role in creating a warm, welcoming environment for our customers. We're looking for someone who can craft exceptional baked goods and hot drinks, ensuring that every interaction with our bakery is an experience our guests will enjoy. This dual role will support our identity as a local London bakery, where quality, hospitality, and joy are at the forefront.

Our Rhythm:
We’re early risers At Buns From Home, our day starts with the first light—typically around 5:00 am at this location. We're also active in the late evening, with some sites staying open until 11:00 pm. Each of our bakeries has its own unique rhythm, and you’ll help set the tone both in the kitchen and with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Opening and closing the bakery daily.
- Craft and bake our products that contribute to our visual display and product offerings.
- Uphold our brand by ensuring each bun meets the premium quality and presentation standards Buns From Home is known for.
- Contribute to the smooth operation of the kitchen, from preparation to closing.
- Maintain a hygiene work space, safe storage of ingredients, and all safety and sanitary regulations.
- Minimise wastage, ensuring there's no overproduction.
- Be a friendly, approachable face for customers, welcoming them to the bakery and assisting them with their needs.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring customers have an outstanding experience, whether it's ordering at the counter or receiving their order with a smile.
- Maintain an organised and clean front-of-house area, ensuring the display looks inviting and is replenished throughout the day.
- Assist with taking orders, preparing beverages, and managing transactions.
- Communicate customer feedback to the team and help implement any necessary changes or improvements.
- Handle customer queries and resolve any issues professionally and promptly.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or operational issues to the line manager or head chef.

**Requirements**:

- Proficient in baking various buns and adhering to forecasted quantities.
- Good time keeping, to keep to our baking schedule.
- A natural ability to connect with customers, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
- physical and social stamina; lifting trays during production, and maintaining energy during Front-facing duties.
- **Morning Availability**: Early morning shifts are part of the job, with a typical start time around.
- Good Communication, with both colleagues and customers is key. Whether it be to inform of allergens, or update stock levels.
- Efficiency and multitasking are both essential as this is a role that requires you wear multiple hats.
- Keeping a cool head in any situation
- A touch of coffee know-how is a bonus, but not a necessity.
- Teamwork is the name of the game; We collaborate in close working environments, so being a team player is essential.
- Being comfortable working alone is important as there’re some shifts that require solo work.
