Alloy Bodies are looking to recruit a Forklift Driver / store person for our busy site in Miles Platting.

The role is a full time role, 40 hours per week

Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm, overtime available

**Objectives of the role**

Work as part of a team to load, unload and distribute materials.

Work as part of a team to store and pick materials.

Comply with company policies and legal guidelines, and help maintain a safe, orderly work environment.

Meet the performance standards for production and quality assurance.

Report safety hazards and quality concerns to a manager as soon as they occur.

**Key responsibilities**

Operating forklifts safely and moving goods (including loaded pallets and equipment) around the site - ensuring loads are secure.

To carefully load & unload delivery vehicles - verifying the quantity and quality of the materials and the corresponding paperwork.

To pick and deliver material requirements to the build teams.

Manual Handling required.

To ensure material is safely picked/put away/stored correctly on shelves and pallets and labelled correctly.

Daily safety checks on FLT’s - Performing equipment checks and basic maintenance.

Ensure good housekeeping of the work environment, including warehouse and stores.

To keep the yard clean & tidy - emptying bins into waste skip and ensuring the workplace is clear.

Prioritise workload to ensure production runs smoothly.

Adhere to latest standards of Health & Safety regulations and FLT operating procedures.

Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.

Perform weekly stock counts - or as required.

**Experience & Qualifications Required;**

Numeracy and literacy.

Have the necessary, current license to drive/operate plant and FLT

Capability to demonstrate a professional service.

Ability to identify and source parts

Following written instructions and keeping records

Inventory maintenance

Forklift Truck driver: 3 years (preferred)
