**Junior Procurement Officer**
**Nottingham - Hybrid working. Must be able to commute to Nottingham once a week**
**Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 5.30pm**
**£25,000 - £28,000 per annum, D.O.E**
**Full Time, Permanent**
**Responsibilities**:
- **Purchase order managemen**t : review the request according to the process in place, check budget approval and create a PO in our finance system Business Central
- **Contracts Renewal management** : work with the Senior Procurement Officer to review the contract renewal liaising with the the internal stakeholder and the supplier
- **RFP and new contract negotiations**: work with the Senior Procurement Officer, assist with all formal quotation and tender activities from evaluation to contract’s signature, preparing documentation and coordinating and updating documentsensuring that all materials are up to date and relevant.
- **Update our database**:ensure that contracts are continuously updated in One Trust and make sure records are accurate, update all necessary information for the procurement dashboard
- **Supplier management**:work with the Senior Procurement Officer to monitor supplier’s performance, ensure SLA and KPI’s are met,and drive improvement
- **Ad-hoc projects**
**Skills/Attributes/Experience**:
- Procurement diploma as CIPS (_any other qualification relative to business and management will be considered_)
- Experience in a procurement position (_could be an internship_)
- High-level of attention to detail
- Communication and negotiation skills
- Analytical skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Flexibility
- Basic knowledge of Excel
- Ideally, experience within a Google environment (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Forms)
- Ideally, experience with an ERP
