**Real London Experiences** is a new tour company on this side of the pond, but we've been operating for nearly 13 years in California, with The Real Los Angeles Tours and Real San Francisco Tours.

Our California companies have well over a thousand 5 star reviews, and are amongst the top tour operators in their respective cities. We're super excited to be launching in London.

This means we now have several openings for experienced tour guides to join our team as freelance guides, leading our London walking and metro tours.

Please note that previous experience as a tour guide is _**essential**_

We're looking for guides who have the experience to lead our full day walking and metro tour of London (which can also be broken down into 3-4 hour morning and afternoon tours).

The basics on the job:

- Remuneration is £70 - £175 per tour + tips (£17.50-30 per hour + tips).
- An easy-to-achieve bonus scheme which is unlimited and uncapped.
- Freelance (you can also work for other companies).
- Flexible schedule with ability to work both weekdays and weekends.

As well as previous tour guiding experience, the successful applicants will be able to demonstrate the following qualities:

- Enthusiasm, with a natural ability to engage with people from all over the world
- Comfortable talking to groups of up to 20 people in a busy outdoor setting
- Approachable, honest and VERY reliable.
- Decent tech skills and possession of a smartphone.

One thing we understand very clearly at Real London Experiences is how important the guide is to our company, therefore we constantly strive to create a great experience for the guide working for us - because then they can create a great experience for the guest. Consequently many of our guides in California have been working for us for years. It's like a family.

We offer very competitive pay rates (we're not a cheap and cheerful company), a good bonus scheme, we don't burden guides with unnecessary tasks and we provide guides with all the information they need to do our tours.

Successful applicants will also be considered for a future tour manager position, when it becomes available, and there could be opportunities to transfer to our companies in California.
