**Job summary**:
We are looking for a Mobile and Broadband Services Assistant to provide support and advice to Members of the House of Commons and House of Lords on mobile and broadband services.

You will be responsible for the fulfilment of requests and the handling of incidents related to the mobile and broadband services plus other related services the team provide to Parliament. We’ll also expect you to:

- process orders for mobile phones, smartphones and iPads, including the setup, administration, handover and ongoing customer support.
- administer broadband services for House of Commons Members throughout the UK as well as services on the Parliamentary Estate
- respond to incidents and requests logged in the Service Management Platform and provide routine advice to users on mobile and broadband services.

**Job description**:

- Follow agreed processes and procedures.
- Process orders for mobile phones, smartphones and iPads, including the setup, administration, handover and ongoing customer support.
- Administer broadband services for House of Commons Members throughout the UK as well as services on the Parliamentary Estate; liaise with customers and suppliers to manage the installation and or removal of broadband services.
- Ensure that all documentation relating to issued equipment is filed according to records management guidelines.
- Respond to incidents and requests logged in Digital Service, Service Management Platform and provide routine advice to users on mobile and broadband services.

**Person specification**:
Criterion 1

Criterion 2
Good knowledge of mobile phone technologies and services, predominately Apple iOS and iPadOS devices.

Criterion 3
A working knowledge of the different broadband technologies available to consumers on the domestic market and the differences between them.

Criterion 4
Ability to work successfully within a team, whilst upholding the values of equality, diversity and inclusion.

Criterion 5
Able to demonstrate attention to detail and numeracy skills through record keeping and correspondence with customers and suppliers as well as experience using Excel and other Microsoft productivity tools to manage their day-to-day workload.
