Pet Bather

Due to our ever expanding client list we are now looking for another concientious, capable and passionate team member. You must be confident and knowlegable around dogs, preferably have previous grooming salon experience and be capable of Bathing, drying and brushing out 12 to 15 plus dogs a day to a high standard. This is a highly physical role and requires focus, compassion, patience and committment.

Must have excellent Cleaning and hygeine standards to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for both dogs and people.

Have a friendly and helpful personality where nothing is too much trouble when it comes to serving customers in our shop assisting other staff members, taking phone bookings and discussing their grooming needs or advising on the best food to buy for their particular dog (training will be given).

Most importantly you must love dogs, be passionate about their welfare and happiness and show confidence and compassion with all breeds, sizes and ages of dogs.

Previous dog handling/dog bathing experience in a professional capacity is essential as we need someone who is able to come straight into this busy team with a can do attitude and a friendly disposition.

A full, clean Drivers Licence and ability to drive a small van is required for this position for the pick up and drop off of customer dogs. This is a service we offer one day a week for our elderly or infirm customers who are not able to bring their dogs to the salon.
