Planning Merchandiser

About the role
We have an opportunity to join the Booker Group as a Merchandising Planner, in the Store Development Team.

Previous experience preferred and due to the nature of the role, applicants must be over 18 years of age.

As a Merchandising Planner, you will oversee the provision of accurate store plan designs reflecting store blueprints and format standards for all development stores in all brands assigned to you,

A full clean driving licence is required and your own car. There may be on occasion overnight stays so flexibility is necessary.

You will be working across multiple Booker Group Brands such as Budgens, Londis, Premier, & Family Shopper.

You will be responsible for
Support the sales team with development propositions and gaining retailer buy-in.

Coordinate all aspects of new store re-fits with the retailer according to agreed briefs, working closely with merchandisers.

Working with the retail sales team to ensure work scheduled has the mínimal impact to our customers

Complying with legal standards and company procedures

You will need
To be successful in this role, you should have a good eye for detail, be computer literate ability to work in CAD and potentially other design software and be a good communicator. You should be customer focused and results driven. Experience of Range & space awareness in an FMCG environment and previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial. Experience of working in a regional role and covering multiple areas is also needed.
