*Kitchen Assistant based at Torrwood, Wells*
*Available Hours:*
*Permanent - Full Time hours per week*
*\*\*(40 hours per week)*

*As part of a dedicated team, you'll help prepare and serve meals for residents.*
*Basic cooking and cleaning skills are essential along with respect for older people.*

*Core Responsibilities*
- Keep all areas of the kitchen clean, in accordance with work schedules.
- Help the Cook in the food preparation, serving, washing up and storing crockery and utensils appropriately.
- Dispose of all waste food hygienically.
- Understand and adhere to Control of Substances Hazardous to Health regulations in accordance with the Health &Safety Manual.
- Ensure the regular washing of all linen used in the kitchen.
- Work to a rolling 7 day rota as required which may include weekends.
