**Salary**:up to £40,000

**What you’ll be doing**:
***
- Support and promotes best practise for the management of data within Maritime Services (MS)
- Make sure that procedures are established to manage records in accordance with the MS Record Retention Schedule.
- Carry out audits on datasets to ensure compliance to Responsible Document Management policies
- Collaborate with Data Owners to identify areas of improvement in compliance with Document Creation, Retention and Disposal and Responsible Document Management policies
- Offer guidance in data management processes, and facilitate training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge for members of the data management

**Your skills and experiences**:
Essential:

- Knowledge of Document Creation, Retention and Disposal, Record Retention and Responsible Document Management
- Experience and an understanding of compliance and governance
- IT literate with knowledge of MS Office package and Sharepoint

Desirable:

- Data focused individual with a sound understanding of the business end to end data solution
- Knowledge of the Rational Governance tool

**The The Information and Data team**:

You will be joining a skilled multi-disciplined team and will work on the Data Reform project building Data Quality dashboards for each area within the wider business to show Data Quality errors for them to correct.

Part of the development and implementation project focused on implementing appropriately tailored practices across the business. You will work on hybrid basis, up to 2 days a week.
