**Job Summary**
**Responsibilities**
- Operate CNC turning machines to manufacture precision components according to specifications.
- Interpret technical drawings and CAD models to set up machinery and select appropriate tooling.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.
- Ensure quality control by conducting regular inspections of finished products using hand tools and measuring instruments.
- Assemble components as required, ensuring adherence to safety standards and operational protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and improve efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
**Experience**
- Proven experience in CNC turning or a similar machining role is essential.
- Strong mechanical knowledge, with the ability to understand complex machinery and tooling systems.
- Familiarity with CAD software, particularly SolidWorks, is highly desirable.
- Experience in materials handling within a warehouse environment is an advantage.
- Proficiency in using hand tools for assembly and welding tasks is beneficial.
- A background in milling operations would also be advantageous.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £16.00-£25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
