A fantastic opportunity has become available at a Secondary School based in Slough for a recent graduate to join their high achieving support team as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. This is an excellent role for someone looking to gain significant experiencesupporting a class teacher with the delivery of lessons, as well as getting the chance to work one to one with students who need help most, such as english as a second language needs, special education needs, and students of lower academic ability.

A graduate with a degree graded 2:1 or above is ideal for this role and a graduate with some previous experience working with children is desirable. This relevant previous experience could include childcare, tutoring, helping within a nursery, in a sportsetting, charity or in a similar classroom setting.

The Role:

- 1 year contract
- £70-80 a day
- Slough
- Teaching Assistant role
- Great platform for aspiring teachers
- Ideally some experience working with children in a similar setting
- ASAP Start

Teaching Assistant criteria:

- Graduate (ideally 2:1 or above)
- Desirably have previous experience working with children ideally in the classroom
- Good education background (GCSE's in Maths and English)
- Can commit to teaching assistant role for one academic year minimum

This Secondary school have a dedicated Teacher Training programme through their School's Direct Route into Teacher Training. The succesful Teaching Assistant, once they have demonstrated their value to the school, will be have the opportunity to be supporteddown this programme
