_Tonbridge School Centre is the home of Recre8, our children's sport, educational and creative activities courses open to all children aged 3 to teens during term-time and school holidays. Our Coaches, Teachers and Tutors have been running our popular children's Holiday Courses at Tonbridge School Centre for over 40 years during the Easter, Half-term and Summer holidays._
- Recre8 are currently seeking a determined self-starter with excellent organisational, interpersonal and customer service skills to become our new Recre8 Courses Co-ordinator. You will lead on the day-to-day operation of the Recre8 Holiday Courses bookings and assist the Courses Manager in the organisation, administration and delivery of all aspects of the Recre8 programme._
**Job Title: Recre8 Courses Co-ordinator**
**Reporting to: Recre8 Courses Manager**
**Main Purpose: To work part time as part of the Recre8 team in planning and delivering all aspects of the Recre8 programme.**
- **To lead on the day-to-day operation of Recre8 bookings**
- **To assist the Courses Manager in the organisation and administration of the courses**
- **To ensure that all Recre8 programmes are processed using the booking system**
**MAIN DUTIES**
- To take Recre8 bookings and queries including monitoring on-line bookings.
- To build excellent customer relations with those booking and attending Recre8 courses.
- To deal with enquiries and any complaints in a calm and professional manner.
- To support the booking and Recre8 related administration processes used by the Reception Team.
- To assist the Customer Services Manager in training new members of the Reception Team.
- With guidance from the Recre8 Manager to train and supervise a team of staff delivering the holiday courses.
- To work with the HR Department in ensuring Recre8 staff are DBS checked and receive Child Protection training.
- To ensure the safety of Recre8 course participants by following correct operating procedures.
- To understand and comply with the School and Centre’s Health & Safety procedures.
- To lead in the expansion of, and be available for, face-to-face marketing opportunities.
- To work flexibly during the school holidays to support the running of the holiday courses.
- In the absence of the Courses Manager, to oversee the day-to-day running of the department.
- To relay any areas of concern to the Courses Manager.
- To carry out any other related duties as may be reasonably required by the Courses Manager.

**SKILLS AND ABILITIES**
- Able to work effectively as part of a team to deliver organisational objectives and a culture of continuous improvement
- A determined self-starter with the ability to see tasks through to completion
- Able to work with all levels of Centre staff and some School departments
- Well presented, approachable and enthusiastic
- Attention to detail with excellent organisational, interpersonal and customer service skills
- Proficient in a range of IT programmes
- Able to multi-task and work under pressure in a busy environment
- Excellent telephone manner
**KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE**
- Knowledge of operations including Health & Safety, reception, cash handling and customer service
- Knowledge of a Leisure Management Booking system (desirable)
- Customer service experience (essential)
- Bookings experience (desirable)
- Experience of working effectively as part of a team
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- First Aid (desirable)
- Sports Coaching qualifications (desirable)
**HOURS OF WORK**
- Part time, 30 - 32 hours per week, all year round.
- Flexibility of working hours will be required during the main weeks of the courses (Easter and Summer holidays). Time in lieu to be taken in agreement with the Courses Manager.
**REMUNERATION AND BENEFITS**
- An annual salary of £18,630 for 30 contracted hours per week (£19,872 for 32 hours)
- Holiday entitlement of 20 days plus bank holidays per annum

- Lunch provided free of charge during term time (when on duty for 6 hours or more)
- Subsidised Sports Centre membership (staff rates)
