THE WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR

The Warehouse Supervisor - Goods In will have responsibility for the day-to-day running of the Goods In team and process. They will be accountable to the Warehouse Manager, ensuring the process runs smoothly and any issues are dealt quickly. They will managethe other members of the team, ensuring they are as productive and efficient as possible.
- Manage the Department processes and team on a day-to-day basis
- Ensure goods are processed quickly and accurately
- Coach the team leaders and staff members to achieve productivity targets
- Deal with any issues quickly and effectively
- Ensure warehouse hygiene standards are adhered to
- Ensure all staff are adhering to the correct Health & Safety standards
- Conduct probationary reviews with new staff and provide regular feedback
- Report and manage poor performance
- Conduct investigation meetings when required
- Conduct return to work interviews
- Report any absence or people issues to Warehouse Manager
- Report to the Warehouse Manager regularly on the performance of the team

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

You will have a background in a similar Warehouse role ideally in a similar FMCG business and will be a first-class communicator able to lead your shift and maintain the highest standards in operations. On top of this you will also need to have the following
- Excellent verbal communication
- Self-Motivation -working to achieve personal and team KPIs
- Time Management
- Organisational skills - ability to multitask and cope under pressure
- Conflict Management
- Must be comfortable standing 100% of the time.
- Must have a minimum of secondary education in English and maths.
- Be able to lift to 30kg constantly
- Must be physically able to move around a warehouse carrying heavy goods
- Must be willing to work a 2pm - 10pm shift
