**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Installation of Kitchens/Bathrooms**: Fit and install kitchen units, worktops, sinks, bathroom suites, showers, toilets, and other associated fixtures and fittings.
- **Plumbing Work**: Carry out basic plumbing tasks such as installing water supply, drainage systems, and pipework for kitchens and bathrooms.
- **Tiling & Flooring**: Lay tiles (wall and floor) and install suitable flooring in both kitchens and bathrooms, ensuring accurate alignment and professional finish.
- **Carpentry Work**: Cut and assemble cabinets, cupboards, and other furniture to fit custom dimensions as required.
- **Electrical Work (Optional)**: Perform basic electrical work such as fitting sockets, lighting, and appliances (if qualified).
- **Measurement & Design Interpretation**: Read and interpret architectural designs, layout plans, and blueprints to install kitchen and bathroom components accurately.
- **Quality Control**: Ensure that all installations meet the company's high standards and comply with health and safety regulations.
- **Customer Service**: Communicate professionally with clients to discuss requirements, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction upon project completion.
- **Project Management**: Plan, organize, and execute projects within set timelines and budgets, coordinating with other trades where necessary.
- **Problem-Solving**: Identify and resolve issues that may arise during installations, ensuring mínimal disruption to clients.
- **Health & Safety**: Ensure all work adheres to safety guidelines, using personal protective equipment (PPE) and keeping workspaces clean and hazard-free.
**Qualifications & Skills**:
- **Experience**: Proven experience as a kitchen and/or bathroom fitter.
- **Technical Skills**: Knowledge of fitting kitchens, bathrooms, plumbing, basic carpentry, tiling, and (optionally) basic electrical work.
- **Attention to Detail**: Ability to produce high-quality finishes with a focus on precision and accuracy.
- **Problem-Solving**: Capable of resolving on-site challenges and working around obstacles during installation.
- **Physical Fitness**: Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, such as lifting heavy equipment and standing for long periods.
- **Time Management**: Excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
- **Communication**: Strong communication skills to liaise with customers, suppliers, and other contractors.
- **Health & Safety Awareness**: Good understanding of safe working practices in residential and commercial environments.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- **Experience with custom or high-end kitchen and bathroom installations.**:
- **Basic electrical qualifications** (e.g., Part P) would be advantageous.
- **Full UK driving licence** (or local equivalent) is required.
**Working Conditions**:
- **Work Environment**: On-site installations in private homes, commercial properties, or new builds.
- **Hours**: Typically, Monday to Friday, 8 am - 5 pm, with potential overtime on weekends or evenings depending on project deadlines.
- **Travel**: Must be willing to travel to various job sites across [Location/Region].
