**NHS GP Medical Receptionist / care navigator**

**Our practice has for over 100 years cared for the residents of Westerham and Sundridge and we are pleased to have a part time opportunity to join our friendly and dedicated reception team. We are proud as an NHS GP practice to deliver the best in patient care and our reception team as first point of contact are essential to enhancing our patient services.**

The role involves daily face to face and very high level of telephone contact with patients. The reception team guide patients to the most appropriate care for their needs and supports them with booking appointments and answering queries. The role is dynamic and demanding, every contact will be different as each patient has unique requirements. If you enjoy helping people, the role as receptionist is highly rewarding as you will be directly supporting patients in need of the practice’s care.

We are a two site practice, based in Westerham and Sundridge with a commitment to training and developing both the clinical and administration teams. We offer GP and Nurse care to over 8,500 patients.

Some previous receptionist experience would be helpful, particularly if gained in a medical environment however we will offer full training to the right person. The essential skills are confidence with IT, listening, communication and a good sense of humour.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: From £10.42 per hour
