Our client are rapidly growing specialist provider of solutions to the Life Science and Electronics industries. They have doubled in growth over the last couple of years and are continuing in a highly positive direction. As a result of their expansion, theyare now looking to recruit for a Procurement & Planning Coordinator to join their friendly and ambitious team.

Responsibilities will include working as part of the purchasing and planning team to ensure processes are carried out effectively. You will look to raise purchase orders as well as acquire quotes from alternative suppliers. Management of the service teamwill also be a major part of the role to ensure they are stocked with correct materials and that the service level is held to a high standard. You will also be responsible for producing and updating reports with relation to planning and purchasing.

To be considered for the role you will have experience in a purchasing or logistics role ideally within a scientific or construction industry. You should have a good understanding of procurement, supply chain and logistics. Furthermore, you should be ableto work well as part of a team as well as autonomously and have the ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally. An ability to work positively and have a tenacity for working will also be necessary.
