Clinical Engineering is looking for qualified or equivalently skilled Clinical Technologist(s) (Entry Level) to join its team at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust (anequal opportunities employer).
ABOUT THE TEAM

You will be joining one of the biggest Clinical Engineering departments in the south of England, covering over 30,000 medical devices with an estimated value of £85M. The Trust provides world class regional specialist services in Cardiac, Neurology and Trauma.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

The role includes the commissioning, the repair and service of a wide range of simple and semi-complex medical devices.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

As a minimum you will be qualified to or working towards Vocational Qualification Level 3 Diploma in medical equipment servicing or equivalent, will have on the job training in specific discipline and have at least 1 year’s experience working in an EBME / biomedical engineering field at band 3 (minimum) level (or equivalent). With a clear focus on quality and patient services you will be technically supporting (repairing, servicing and testing) a range of medical equipment across many clinical specialists that supports the delivery of world class healthcare here at University Hospital Southampton, within the local healthcare community and overseas.
