We are currently looking for a Funeral Director to join Our busy team

Our funeral directors focus on ensuring our clients receive a service which exceeds their expectations from the very first call to inform us that their loved one has died, through the arrangements and to then conduct the funeral.

You will lead the team in providing a unique funeral ensuring our high professional standards are maintained at all times. You will be calm under pressure where no two days are the same, a great communicator, a can do attitude and a great team supporter,take pride in having great attention to detail and a clear passion for supporting the bereaved.

**Funeral Director Duties**:

- To competently oversee all aspects of the funeral to our client’s satisfaction including the care of the deceased.
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations for the profession.
- To efficiently and effectively deal with client enquiries.
- Lead and support the wider team ensuring our clients wishes are met both before and on the day of the funeral.
- To play an active role within the local community and build strong relationships by being an ambassador for Neville Funerals by being involved with local community and charity events and activities to ensure we continue to build great relationships withlocal organisations.
- Identifying local market opportunities and discussing with the Manager and Board
- Coordinating and liaising with other branches to share knowledge and best practice.
- To ensure that all administration is accurate and handled in an appropriate manner.
- Liaising with third parties such as cemeteries, crematorium, ministers and civil celebrants
- To be part of the on-call rota as duty Funeral Director which includes some evening and weekends and public holidays.

**Funeral Director Requirements**:

- NAFD Diploma in Funeral Directing or willing to gain the qualification.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and listening).
- Knowledge of industry.
- Leadership skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Outstanding organisation skills.
