We are currently looking to grow our dedicated team of **Support Workers** to work at our amazing location **Clarence House** based in **Dewsbury**
**Clarence house**provides support to adults from age 16+ with diagnoses of learning disabilities and mental health.
At **Clarence house**, we support the people who live here to access the local community, and they all have opportunities to access work placements and college. We encourage all service users to be independent as possible and encouraging people who live at Clarence house to gain and retain as many daily living skills as possible to enable them to be independent in their lives.

**Job title**: Support Worker
**Hours**: Part Time and Full Time (36-48 hours) can be considered.
**Pay**:£12.35 an hour
No prior experience is needed, as we will give you all the tools you’ll need to excel in this role. All you need to bring is a hardworking, compassionate nature and a positive can-do attitude.

**About the role**
Our Support Workers are enthusiastic about providing a high-quality and bespoke service to each of our clients, always putting those in our care at the heart of what we do. To ensure we can achieve this, our shift patterns include evenings, weekends, and some unsociable hours.
To succeed in this position, you will need great communication and interpersonal skills so that you can form solid relationships with your clients and effectively handover information to colleagues.
Working as a Support Worker means no two days are the same as you will be supporting our residents with their day to day lives, encouraging them to live as independently as possible. You may get involved in exciting activities outside of the home too.

- Able to support in house activities and hobbies
- Attentive and inspire residents to achieve more
Whilst drivers are able to take residents out and about, you do not need to be a driver to work here - we have many non-drivers too
**This role encompasses a range of tasks dependent on the client’s needs including**:
- Monitoring, recording, and administering medication
- Light household chores
- Assistance with mobility and personal care
- Assistance with shopping
- Food preparation
- Providing companionship
