Are you an experienced property insurance claims handler, looking for a new role? Do you have previous experience in commercial or domestic property claims? **Position: Insurance Claims Handler - Property**
**Location: Home Based / UK**
**Salary: up to £30,000 pa depending on previous experience / insurance qualifications**
**Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday**
**Contract: Permanent, work from home**

The job of a Claims Handler will involve the following main duties:
- Take ownership of your own caseload of property insurance claims
- Ensure constant contact with all stakeholders to promote first class customer service.
- Dealing with your own claims from FNOL to settlement. A majority of the claims will be of varying value and complexity, so you’ll have the skills and knowledge to settle (within your authority) or to pass the more complex cases on to other departments when necessary.
- Previous claims experience within property / commercial property insurance
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Excellent communication skills with both Customers and Clients
- The ability to prioritise workload effectively
- The ability to work on your own initiative and take ownership of your own caseload of claims
- Proven experience of maintaining a close working relationship with customers, to promote customer satisfaction during all stages of the claim.
- Excellent keyboard and IT skills
- Progressing towards or intention to become Cert / Dip CII qualified
