You will need to be able to manage behaviour effectively, multi task, express a proactive attitude and be adaptable for this Teaching Assistant post. If appointed as a Teaching Assistant your primary responsibility will be to support a male pupil with SEMH. As a Teaching Assistant at the school, you will be a Mentor to the pupil and develop their academic attainment, as well as their general wellbeing. There will be times where you will be expected to support other groups of pupils in class, work 1:1 with different SEN students and also run intervention sessions too. The school are ideally seeking someone with an interest in Athletics or PE, such as a PE Graduate. This is due to the interests the SEMH pupil has and how they are best supported to reach their goals. Due to the level of consistency and commitment required to effectively support the pupil, this Teaching Assistant role will be full time and permanent. The rates of pay for this Teaching Assistant role will be between £70 to £100 depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant. **The School** An 'Outstanding' mixed all-through.
