**OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB**

You will be responsible for providing an excellent shopping experience for every customer. You will be able to demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of all our products, providing expert advice on all aspects of foot health, measuring and fitting. You will be able to work remotely as well as holding responsibility for the management of the sales floor, ensuring the cleanliness of the sales floor and maintaining this to a very high standard throughout the day.

You will be responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of the stockroom, including stock rotation, and be able to react to consumer demands. In addition, checking off deliveries and raising any discrepancies immediately to

Start-Rite.

You will be confident in using Excel, Powerpoint, Word and template data sheets of sales data and customer profiles and reporting these to Start-Rite on a daily basis.

You will assist in managing with the daily operations and objectives set in Store and you will be flexible in your approach to support the business at peak trading times.

You will be confident in dealing with all types of consumer interaction including booking fitting appointments as well as offering personal measuring sessions, being at ease when dealing with all children including those with special needs.

Working to an appointment system during peak trading times, you will need to be able to effectively manage your time and priorities.

You will assist with promotional activities including seasonal events with the possibility of travelling to other locations outside of the Retail Store.

You will take part in all company training requirements and communication meetings, fully supporting the busines and its requirements throughout the year.

A flexible approach to working hours, working remotely and any other changes to support the business as and when needed.

You will be responsible for daily reporting to the business on sales data and consumer profiles.

**MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**

**KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS**
- To provide excellent customer service and make Start-Rite the go to place for children’s shoes.
- Ability to work remotely in addition to holding responsibility for the management of the sales floor
- To assist new team members and provide support and share best practices
- To promote add on sales at every opportunity
- Strive to achieve all KPI’s, including daily store and individual targets
- Ability to deal with complaints in a professional manner
- To be fully conversant with the Start-Rite Brand Values and what they stand for
- To be adaptable to new methods of selling including virtual and telephone appointments
- Assisting and supporting those families with any special need’s requirements
- Efficient processing of sales at till point, PDQ and remote payment stations
- To be fully conversant and confident with opening and closing procedures including start and end of day till procedures
- To be confident in completing all sales data reports, discrepancies, and general reporting
- Collection of data capture and the creation of personal profiles
- To participate in Brand training, RAG Training modules and daily briefs as and when required
- To participate in the two-week rota that will require weekend working
- Flexibility and adaptability to provide additional support during busy times and peak trading seasons
- To be actively involved with the day-to-day housekeeping and department maintenance to the highest standards
- Carry out any reasonable request by the Start-Rite managers and other representatives from the Company to ensure the smooth running of your department
- Check stock deliveries and notify Start-Rite immediately of any discrepancies and/or shortages.
- Store stock in the correct areas of the stock room, ensuring new styles are displayed at the correct price on receipt of delivery always maintaining a neat and tidy stockroom
- Ensure end of day data is processed effectively both with Fenwicks & Start-Rite, notifying Start-Rite of any discrepancies
- Assist with stockroom and stock audits as and when required
- To be polite and professional when representing the Company at external events
- To comply with all Health & Safety regulations as laid out by the Company and Fenwicks
- Maintain the highest standards of the agreed dress code

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.85 per hour
