**Product Owner - Helvar** **Location: Dartford, Kent (Bordering South East London)** **Employment Type: Permanent** At Helvar we are developing world -leading Lighting Control Solutions that promote Wellbeing and Sustainability and at the same time improve energy efficiency and ease of use for the Customers. We are currently looking for a **Product Owner **to work with our wired solution team in Dartford. You will be responsible for interpreting the business requirements coming from the Product Manager into something that can be worked on by the team and then prioritize the work/backlog that the team does. You will drive and facilitate the needed discussions to create development epic and stories as well as decides on the relative priorities of customer defects vs new features together with Product Management. If you want to join a company that values wellbeing & growth culture then Helvar is the place for you **What you will be responsible for**: - Drive and prioritize the work of our Wired Solution team based on the business priorities defined by the Product Management - Understanding of the Customer and End -User needs in order to maximise the value of our solution to the Customer - Work with Product Design team to prototype and innovate new customer solutions - Break down key features with the scrum team into deliverable Epics on next increments and sprints. - Groom and prioritize the work in the development and maintenance backlogs - Prioritise maintenance and defect backlog and ensure a good balance between new development, maintenance and bug fixing. **What you will have**: - Experience from Lighting Control or other Smart Building related domains - Experience in using JIRA and able to customise its use for the scrum team as well as manage and produce analytics and reports - Highly experienced in Agile methodologies and facilitating agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Refinement, Grooming, Triage, Retrospective. - Ideally a certified Scrum Master or Product Owner **Nice to have**: - Experience in developing and releasing products and solutions that include both software and hardware - Understanding of Lighting Control or Smart Building domains and relevant technologies **Why Helvar; Our Promise**: - "Here you feel appreciated and valued, you are not just a number." - Helvar Employee_ At Helvar, we promise you conditions that foster your personal growth and help you achieve your full potential We dare to claim ourselves as experts in innovation (with 100 years experience), and we work in a friendly, easy-going atmosphere, with a focus on improving your wellbeing.
